At this time of year, most of us are in home redecorating mode, but we can’t forget about our office. We can spend 8 plus hours working away so that space should be beautiful and inspiring. Whether you work outside or inside the home here are ideas that will keep you going.
The presents have been put away and the decorations back in storage for another year. I always find the house seems a little bare at this time of year as the bountiful holiday arrangements disappear. I like this time though because it feels like a clean slate, full of new possibilities for both my lifestyle and living space. We’ve put together a few ideas to help refresh your home while invigorating you to live the best possible 2019!
With 2018 coming to an end our hearts are full of gratitude as we look back on all the projects that we were privileged enough to be a part of. We can truthfully say that we love each and every one of them! The clients and stories that came through our shoppes inspired us, and moved us, and we are forever thankful. Here’s a look back on three amazing projects from this year.
Christmas is often tied to traditions. We all want to taste the recipes we grew up with and do the activities that warm our hearts year after year, but life brings change and no matter how hard we try to hold onto to the past, time never lets things be exactly the same. Though I embrace the wonders of change and the new fun that it offers, at Christmas time especially I still crave the memories that lie in tradition. I believe in their value, of teaching the ways, and telling stories of long ago.
As the weather chills up and we spend more time inside, our eyes wonder around the house wanting to settle on something amazing. Extra large pieces hung on the wall will do nothing but delight as they make an enormous statement in your home. We’ve put together some ideas for extra big art that you probably already have lying around.
Matt and I have always seen ourselves as entrepreneurs. We are naturally driven by the challenges and excitement that everyday holds when you own your own business. Over five years ago our scribbled down dream became a reality when we opened the doors as Le Frame Shoppe.
It’s the last week of November! This month we’ve been busy finishing off the renovations at our Dorval shoppe. We’re almost there and I am so excited to show you guys the end result! We also got our shoppes holiday ready, released our seasonal promotion that includes not 1 but 2 gifts and have stocked up on our holiday gift certificates! December we are ready for you! But first, here are our top pins for November - all about preservation!
The word ‘montage’ comes up in custom framing quite a bit. This simply describes piecing together different items to make one beautiful end result – something that I think we do very well! :) We’ve rounded up some beautiful montages to inspire your next project.
It's the perfect time to start thinking about the Christmas countdown! We love the fun and tradition of advent calendars in our house. Every morning it’s a mad race to officially mark it one day closer to Christmas. Bring the family together with these simple DIY ideas!
We can’t believe it’s already November! It’s been rainy and cold over here, which means more time spent cozying up inside and staring at our walls! To help get those walls looking their best, this month we’ve shared unexpected ways to think about framing for your day-to-day, discussed some important finishings to bring your framed pieces to that ‘wow’ level and my personal favourite – object framing!
Object framing has to be one of my favourite things. Capturing sweet memories tell your story in the form of wall art and the best part – these artful pieces can be just about anything!
There are countless tiny details that a custom framer considers to bring a project to the next level. These details make the end result feel polished and really help achieve that ‘wow’ moment for our clients.
Thanksgiving 2018. Another year of memories, smiles, people and places that make us thankful.

If you’ve ever been curious about what goes into our frame designs, we’re discussing our most frequently asked question: should you frame for the artwork or the area it’s going into, aka the décor?
Fall is right around the corner and we’re discussing how to get into the Autumn groove with these simple updates to your décor.

"Life is better framed" is a cute tagline and sounds great, but it means so much more. A note from the Framepro…

It’s no secret that I’m an antique fanatic so when clients bring their vintage finds to our shoppes I’m over the moon! I appreciate the warmth and character that these pieces bring to a space and wanted to show you some of my favourites!

We can’t wait for you to see the end result this fall! Speaking of next season, it seems that this month’s top pins have been inspired by back to school and preserving memories.
