Over the last few years to an all-time peak in 2019 we’ve seen more awareness on environmentally savvy choices as well as lifestyle changes that focus on plant-based living, farm to table cuisine, sustainable materials and finding joy in the basics. The presents have been put away and the decorations back in storage for another year. I always find the house seems a little bare at this time of year as the bountiful holiday arrangements disappear. With 2018 coming to an end our hearts are full of gratitude as we look back on all the projects that we were privileged enough to be a part of. We can truthfully say that we love each and every one of them! The clients and stories that came through our shoppes inspired us, and moved us, and we are forever thankful. Christmas is often tied to traditions. We all want to taste the recipes we grew up with and do the activities that warm our hearts year after year, but life brings change and no matter how hard we try to hold onto to the past, time never lets things be exactly the same. Though I embrace the wonders of change and the new fun that it offers, at Christmas time especially I still crave the memories that lie in tradition. I believe in their value, of teaching the ways, and telling stories of long ago.
As the weather chills up and we spend more time inside, our eyes wonder around the house wanting to settle on something amazing. Extra large pieces hung on the wall will do nothing but delight as they make an enormous statement in your home.
