We don't just create frames, we create experiences! And interactive frame designs help with the overall viewer experience as they are highly customizable and can deliver on the unique needs of a client. "Le Frame Shoppe has framed a number of things for me over the years, including some historical mementos that I am able to both display and have easy access to when I want to take them out. The client's imagination seems to be the limit." Today we've rounded up some awesome examples from the vault that showcase the combination of function and form with interactive frames that completely immerse our clients into their tailored experience! The modern-day plannerOrganizing is an important element in everyone's life. Planning out your day, month or even year helps maintain goals and keep us on track without stressing about remembering our to-dos. Combining this function with the aesthetic of customizable colours, materials and size equals a stunning interactive frame! Our client wanted an all inclusive command area complete with a calendar and pinboard designed to fit exactly within a closet and sized to cover some unwanted coverings in a boy's room. The top half is a custom plexi calendar while the bottom half includes a cork board covered in dark material to push-pin all of his loose notes, photos and the like. The frame matches the material for a seamless look that is both sleek and modern for the ultimate day planner. The hockey net and pipe projectSports memorabilia enthusiasts will love this incredible interactive frame design! If you collect sports memorabilia the challenge is trying to display your collections in a beautiful and purposeful way. For this project, our client brought in a piece of the goal post from the NHL New York Rangers' goal that was signed by the goalie along with its net. He wanted these two elements to be incorporated within the same framed presentation, while having the ability to clip other collected items to and from the net. We went all out and played up the hockey vibe by mimicking a mini ice-rink along with its respective colours. We designed the net to sit slightly away from the backboard to allow the function of clipping further items to it with ease. The finished piece looks stunning on its own and, in addition, the client has complete control of interacting with it as he attaches new findings to the net that will further develop his sports-loving experience! The Canadian Tire magazine projectThe design for this vintage Canadian Tire magazine had to allow the magazine to be easily removed from the frame. So we had to build a hinged door on the front of the frame design and nestle the magazine within the backdrop for simple removal as needed.
