The signed hockey stick

When we say we are custom, we mean it.

This signed hockey stick got the full treatment!

Our client came in with a signed Montreal Canadiens hockey stick. He wanted the stick to appear seamless within the frame, while allowing the signatures to show.

The design

Naturally we had to pull from the team colours with a bright red and blue mat that would sit within a crisp, clean-lined white frame.

We love adding colour and subtle detail to our frame designs by lining the inside of the frame with a coloured mat. This not only adds a wow factor but elevates the piece. For this project we chose to line the inner frame with the red mat and use the blue as the backdrop to the hockey stick.

There are not a great deal of (if any) premade bracket options that are strong enough to hold and attach an item like a hockey stick, while being transparent, so our workshop team got busy and created their own! Our technicians did an outstanding job with these custom brackets!

The result

The hockey stick is elegant and sleek, while taking a nod to the team through the design palette, and more importantly the signatures are exposed and our client is happy!
