The vintage oil project

It's no secret that we love a good vintage project!

​Vintage treasures hold so much history and add instant charm to a space. These worn items often are overlooked because it can be hard to imagine them working in a room. But with a little help, antiques are the perfect addition!

Our client found this vintage oil painting for $20! This small landscape was a great find! But did need some attention. 

​We cleaned the piece up and then reframed it with a modern, stacked moulding design. We wanted to maintain that vintage vibe still so selected moulding with rustic finishes. 

The outer moulding has a chunky antique silver leaf finish and the inner moulding is thinner in a blue- grey tone that pulls from the colors of the piece.

This frame pairing looks both current and timeless and being custom, completely made for the painting.
