Full-Time Manager

​Location: 
Le Frame Shoppe Dorval (2146 Route Transcanadienne)

• Manage due dates, production schedule, staff schedules, delivery & installation schedules
• Manage received goods, returns and credits
• Manage supply inventory
• Liaison between Sales and Design team for all Le Frame Shoppe locations and Workshop team
• Liaison between Ownership and staff
• Ensure that company policy, methods and practices are being followed
• Manage quality control issues, with a special focus on reducing problems in that area
• Review and approve invoices & work orders, pair them with their Items to be framed and send into production
• Help the Sales and Design team or Workshop team in a pinch

Part-Time Sales and Design Consultants for Custom Frames

Le Frame Shoppe Dorval (2146 Route Transcanadienne)
Le Frame Shoppe Westmount (318A Ave Victoria)
Le Frame Shoppe Beaconsfield (442 Beaconsfield Boulevard)

Hours:
Approx. 20-24 hours given per week

Description:

• Be able to give a customer service experience to Le Frame Shoppe standards in English and French
• Develop a full understanding of custom frame design techniques and when to use them
• Be familiar with the various mediums used in art and their framing requirements or limitations
• Have an appreciation for interior design and decorating 
• Moderate math skills (ie must be able to measure accurately in inches, add/subtract fractions and calculate the prices)
• Excellent people skills is a must
• Keep showroom & displays clean and organized
• Change and maintain the window and framed samples displays
• Be the liaison between Le Frame Shoppe and clients (ie notify if orders are ready, production delays, upcoming sales)
• Sales development

Part-Time Position for Cut & Join Department
​Description:

• Cut frame length into chops
• Join chops into frames
• Detail the finished frames
• Operate the tables and chop saws
• Receive delivered goods
• Clean and maintain the equipment and the workshop

​Part-Time Position for Mats & Mountings Department
​Description:

• Operate the mounting press, computerized mat cutter and the chopper
• Cut mats and backings required
• Light mount or press item to frame
• Mount artwork into mats
• Execute all the artisanal mountings

Part-Time Position for Fit and Finishings Department:
Description: 

• Cut the required glass to size
• Fit the orders into their frames as required
• Finish the orders to Le Frame Shoppe standards and install hanging hardware 
• Photograph the finished orders
• Pair up orders with invoices and package them to leave the workshop
