2016 AT A GLANCE

We’ve had an absolutely amazing 2016 and we couldn’t be more thankful to all of you! We’ve felt support, received encouragement and got to work on some pretty spectacular projects! We’d love to tell you about all of them but we can only share four favourites with you!

​The Space Montage
 
It’s always fun to work on montages because we can get a glimpse into the lives of our clients and feel like we’re somehow sharing their experience. This one, filled with memorabilia from space missions, was such an interesting and rewarding project. Our client had achieved so much in a male-dominated industry and the montage not only is commemorative of this important time in her life, but will also serve as inspiration to the generations of young women in science that she will be teaching in the next phase of her career.

​The folk dress
 
In our line of work we are able to bring the past into the present. The joy on our clients’ faces when they see new life brought to their memories is something special. This piece displays old black and white pictures of our client and her mom wearing the customary dresses and as well houses the actual garments. Our client gave this as a housewarming present to her daughter.

​The Olympic Frame
 
It takes hard work and dedication to achieve the Olympic recognition of our client and we were given the privilege to show it off! 

​The $4 Bill
 
The history that comes through our doors is incredible. This $4 bill was from one of the first banks in Canada, The Molson Bank, since bought by the Bank of Montreal. The rarity of this piece and what it represents in Canadian history was such a thrill to custom-frame.
