ART TAKES THE LEAD

​For everyone who follows us, you know that when designing a custom frame, there are countless options! The skill of a designer is often in their ability to keep it simple.

There's a fine line between designing for the space that an art piece will hang versus understanding the space that an art piece will hang and then designing a frame for the art. First and foremost the art should take the lead. 

For this project our designer showed great restraint and allowed these stunning illustrations to take center stage. The choice to float these pieces in a clean-lined black frame provides a classic, yet modern backdrop that enhances the work as well as draws the viewer's eye into the art without competing with it.

​Deciding on the right glass for the right project is imperative. The benefit of art glass for these illustrations ensures preservation as well as clarity so once again the art becomes the feature.
