Humankind seems to have revisited its relationship with nature and in turn people are taking an internal gage. So what does this mean for custom framing?

Custom framing breaks down into 2 parts that together create the complete feeling when you look at your end piece: 1) the item you choose to frame 2) the overall frame design.
Hands down, what you choose to honour on your wall is the most important part of any inspiring piece. This item can be anything as long as it triggers something within you. The hardest part about this is to allow yourself to step outside of the box when selecting what to frame. It doesn’t have to cost a million dollars or be perfectly square-shaped to earn a spot on your wall. It simply has to make you smile, remember something or someone or encourage you to be the best version of you. We often get asked by our clients if we think a certain item should be framed because it isn’t worth a lot of money or might be a little rough and our answer is always the same, “What does it mean to you?” Feelings are priceless; so in today’s age of focusing on the fundamentals and discovering internal happiness, open your eyes and hearts to the potential of everything as art. 
The overall frame design can be considered the supporting role to your starring item. As custom framers part of a profession that still works with its hands and materials with somewhat of a node to the past, our goal is finding out what is important to you and your item and then bringing that to life so that with the right moulding and finish your unique values and item can shine.
