​This year is all about personality when it comes to design. We'll be seeing lots of colour, statement elements, built-ins and recessed walls. This is the time to showcase what makes you happy.

​So how do you get started? Simple. What do you have that is an expression of who you are? Take that and turn it into stunning art.

There's no easier content to curate than that of your life experiences. Think about gathering material picked up on your travels, like postcards, menus or souvenirs. Collections of trinkets, heritage pieces, fabric or really anything can be turned into the most amazing decor! Family photos are timeless expressions of our life story and will forever have a place in decor and more than ever it's time to showcase them. 

If you have a one-off piece that you adore, but might not fill a wall, no worries! You can frame these tiny momentoes and display them in a built-in. Or add them amongst a mismatched grouping of other cherished items in a collected gallery wall. The frame design will tie everything together.
