Framing to fit a space

Our longtime client has a collection of high level cartoons and graphic art displayed in his office that we have framed over the years. These two additions needed to be framed to a specific dimension so that they fit perfectly within the empty spaces in his collection. 

​Here's what we did...

We started with the outside dimensions of what would look ideal in the space and worked our way backwards to then figure out the interior sizes of our cuts. This ensures that we create the right sized overall piece for the space.
For the design

We compiled three mats for these works to help with the overall sizing and design aesthetic. Two openings were then cut in the mats, one for the image and one for the detailed footer to go underneath.

The end result is beautifully framed collections that work in exactly the right spot!
