To start the New Year off right we wanted to deliver on 2017 trends over the next few blog posts. Pinterest is such a huge source of ideas that it only made sense for us to turn to its predicted styles for this year and then of course put our spin on them!
Nightstands
We take them for granted. We rarely put much thought into them but this year sees a predicted boost in their appeal. People are starting to spend more money on beds and bedding so to keep within budget cool DIY nightstands are emerging. What does this have to do with custom framing? Check it out. Over the holidays we got crafty and turned an old card table into a unique piece using frame moudlings! Get inspired and create your very own. 
Indoor vines that climb
The natural beauty of a living wall is predicted to become even more popular in 2017. This trend allows people to get creative and we love it! Hang one or a few frames on your wall and sit pots of climbing plants on the frames’ ledge. The frames will act as a support for those lush vines and encourage the trendy climb to greenery love! 
Cold showers
The bathroom is often a forgotten room when it comes to decorating but 2017 changes that. The trend for cold showers is on the rise and with the healthy benefits associated we can see why. With more people wanting to shower comes the need for nicer enclosures and this one from TradHome is a showstopper! The rest of your bathroom décor can look a little under par in comparison so go ahead and hang some art! 
Printing work on canvas is perfect for creating art in a room with high humidity. For one of our client’s, we printed an image from a photo on high-end canvas and stretched it over a stretcher bar frame the same way we would with an acrylic or oil painting. We then framed it and suspended it from the ceiling in her master bath. I would say this stunning job meets the 2017 trend.
