PARTNERS IN LIFE & AT WORK

People are often shocked when I tell them that Matt and I are married and work together. It’s not for everyone but I can’t imagine life any other way.

​Matt and I have been together longer than we’ve been apart. Though we always knew of each other, we hadn’t really spoken more than a few minutes. Our forever started when we bumped into each other in the CEGEP corridor. We managed our awkward hellos when a teacher walked by and said that we were going to get married.
 
What? We barely know each other! We’re so young!

​But she was right. Here we are together still after two decades.
 
Our life has had its share of challenges but that has only solidified us.  Sure we have our differences and drive each other crazy like any other couple but we balance each other out so well.

​We recently volunteered at a fun day and were assigned the dunk tank. I was reminded that together we thrive. It wouldn’t have been as great or as organized without the two of us bringing our unique strengths to the activity. In work and at home we do the same. 

Matt brings strength, charisma, creativity, and adventure to every project that we tackle. I'm relentlessly determined with a firm foot in detail and logic. Our drive and passion are fuelled by each other's personalities that seem to work better with every day spent together.

Despite so much together time, I can’t say that we ever feel the need to spend time apart. We want to take on issues and challenges together and luckily make each other laugh every step of the way.
