Friends of ours Jen and Paul along with their business partner Tony recently opened up a new Pub on Cameron in Hudson, Qc., appropriately named Cameron House.
To help set the tone of an authentic Scottish public house, they came to us with two flags that they wanted to frame and display. The size of the area that we had to display the frames in was smaller than the actual length of flags. To turn this challenge into a design plus, we steamed and ironed the flags flat, then folded and fasten them proportionately around a board cut to size. The flags were then float mounted above a black mat.
We creatively folded the flags to show the most important elements.
We selected moulding with a contemporary rustic finish to create stunning dark wood frames with metal fleck accents. The flags were floated above the dark background and recessed under glass. Our team really put love and care into getting the flags perfectly mounted and framed and couldn’t wait for Jen and Paul to see them. The framed flags were delivered this past weekend to Cameron House Pub and they were thrilled with how they turned out and the personality these two pieces bring to an already charming decor! << NEXT| PREVIOUS >>
