The layered glass art project

What an interesting artisanal project that we had the pleasure of working on!

​Our client collected a 3D art piece where there are layers of glass painted and spaced in front of each other to give a dreamlike-finish. This large piece is encased in a wide, square black box that unfortunately is not the most decorative option for a home and sticks out quite dramatically from the wall. 

In order to resolve this and have it match our client's aesthetic tastes we worked with his designer to create a three-step frame which masks the black exterior and hardware of the old encasement to create a gradual presentation from the wall.

We selected a modern gold frame combination of three stacked profiles cut in an artisanal manner to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind frame piece for this one-of-a-kind artwork.
