It only makes sense then that your style be apparent in all parts of your house; making your house a place you love and want to call home. Today we’re going through 4 basic design styles when it comes to custom framing. Which one draws you in?
 
There are all sorts of distinct styles and mash up of styles so go ahead and combine different design elements until you find a look that is your own.  There is no right or wrong answer so have a little fun! Here are a few fundamentals when it comes to frame design that you can pull from for inspiration.

​A fun mash up option is to pull from two very different styles. For example, combine rustic and traditional for an unexpected look that compliment each other beautifully.

Why they work so well together:

Each style plays off of the other creating balance that appeals the eye. The raw rustic finish of this moulding and the traditional details of this fillet hold their own but join to form a harmonious look with just the right amount of contrast.
