Now that school is out for most, kids from all over are going to run around and grow their collections! It’s great to watch their intent and appreciation, as they gather their cherished items, absolutely needing that one last rock! I never want to stifle their sense of curiosity and passion but it is nice to at least help them organize. Here are four great ways to display your child’s favorite collection.
Let’s start with the famous rock collection. If it sparkles, it goes into the pocket! Help them add importance to their prized rocks by gluing the rocks to a board, labeling them and framing them up. Another great idea is to create an image using their rocks for a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Shells are another popular childhood collection. A simple shadow box that’s opened at the top can be a great way to store, organize and display all of those shells! This concept can be used for all sorts of collections; trinkets, tickets – really just about anything you’re child is into!

Cars, cars and more cars! Contain the madness and turn their car collection into art. The colors make a great addition to a child’s room and your little one will get to admire their best cars everyday rather then have them buried at the bottom of a bin.

Lego love! I’m sure I’m not the only parent who hates tripping over the Lego collection. This amazing idea allows easy access to your child’s mini Lego figures by simply crafting platforms out of Lego that the mini-figs can pop on and off of. No glass is used in this the design so the kids can grab and use the figurines as they build and create.
