PUZZLE ART

Some of you, like me, are still in a summer mindset, but with the new season comes all sorts of wonder. Time spent indoors with family and friends, revisiting projects and hobbies that were put on hold during the warmer months and toasting our toes by the fire. Today’s blog we’re cozying up to the idea of turning puzzles into art. 

​Puzzles are such a fun way to come together and can mean something different for every hand that helps build the masterpiece. Some people love puzzles for the final image, the colours, the challenge or because it’s a shared task that can join a family. Whether you try to put together the puzzle in record speed our have taken time slowly joining the pieces, the outcome is beautiful.

The picture that slowly takes shape when a puzzle nears its end is priceless. The journey that has taken place to achieve the end result, the laughter, struggles and victories hold importance. It always breaks my heart when we have to rip it apart and put our glorious work back into the box.
 
So today I’m looking at the stunning outcome of not putting those pieces away but rather hold those pieces and in turn memories together for a lifetime as we turn puzzles into art.
 
GO BOLD WITH COLOUR
Puzzles are by nature whimsical and fun, so go ahead and select a design that is bright and colourful. The bold colours brighten up a playroom or child’s bedroom.

PRESERVE A TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY AT WORK
Having your team build a puzzle as a unit is a great way to break the ice and strengthen work habits as a whole. Hang your completed puzzle in a conference room to remind your group that they can work together and have fun in the process.

SCHOOL HONOR
There is resemblance in completing a puzzle and the victories of graduating. Like the ups and downs of school life, puzzle pieces can fit together easily at times and on other occasions feel impossible. But once it all comes into focus we are overwhelmed with pride and a sense of accomplishment.

DIY FUN
Kids love getting messy and creating. If you have old, mismatched puzzle pieces have your child transform them into something amazing! Hanging their new vision for the puzzle in your home adds a personal touch.

Whether you have done enough puzzles to create a unique gallery wall or have taken all year to complete one magnificent puzzle, hold those family memories together.
