THE ARTIST'S PROJECT

​Tests sheets turned into very special gifts. Here is The Artist’s Project.
 
Our client’s mother was an artist. The test sheets that she used are not only beautiful, but also filled with meaning, making them a perfect choice for family gifts.

​Working with our client, we selected individual groupings of the painted artworks from within the test sheets. We wanted to recreate their organic feel and so tore them individually out from the paper to create unique collages. This allowed us to keep the artisanal edges that we loved from the test sheets.

​Once we had all the flower pieces ready we floated them above backgrounds tailored to that grouping. We recessed these in custom-made shadow box frames.
 
For the next set of images, we tipped the Santas and snowmen onto Christmas-inspired mats and backings and then framed them using easel back stands to create tabletop frames that they can bring out each season.
 
With a project full of sentiment, conservation glass and materials were a must. All mouldings were from Fotiou's and Roma's collection for this project.
