What a treat this piece was to work on especially for our team member who grew up in Ohio and is a fan! Here is The Blue Jackets Project.
Hockey is so exciting to watch and be a part of! That sense of team pride is contagious! For this project, we framed a hockey stick that was used and signed by Quebec-native Pierre-Luc DuBois who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets. As an extra special wow this stick was used to score a point during the game that was captured in the professional photos included in this piece’s display! The design also incorporates the game scoring puck, scorecard, and original ticket. All of which help complete the memory!
This piece is an incredible 74” wide! Keeping in mind that lengths of moulding only come in select sizes we designed the openings so that two 40” pieces were joined together to create the length needed. We buried the seam in one of the bevels for the photos.
So much fun and the results are amazing!
