The Canvas Mosaic

The piece blew us away!

Our client painted 12 small canvas boards with rich textures and vibrant colours using an array of multimedia.

​The art includes resin for a lovely smooth glass-like finish juxtaposed with rough textures created by mixing sand and cloth fibres into the paint. She secured each canvas to a large black Bristol board and then came to us to design and build the perfect frame for her masterpiece!

To highlight the depth in spacing between each canvas in the mosaic, we sank her work into our Basix black floater moulding. The result is stunning and uncomplicated. ​

To make this piece even more incredible, our client is not an artist by trade, but rather a Doctor….
