Le Frame Shoppe Blog | The Hands Project
Every project is unique and presents different challenges. The Hands Project is both delicate and strong. Let’s take a closer look to see what we mean.

The beauty of this piece is undeniable. It has impact. But made of plaster it poses the challenge of being fragile. If we don’t work with a careful touch the entire item could be destroyed!

We decided to float the hands in a double moulding in black. To mount the piece we had to gingerly drill and bolt it to the backing.

After crafting two frames from our BASIX line, we joined them using our Robert’s cut to create an ideal depth to properly display the plaster hands.

I love the simplicity of how the white and black work together. It turned out amaizing!
