Traditions add a richness to life. They are something that we remember and look forward to. Whether they are old or new, let's find a way to honour our own traditions as we take a look at The Recipe Project.

Recipes have become honoured traditions for birthdays, celebrations or Sunday dinners. Through them we not only remember the special treats, but as well the person who took the time to make them. Framing recipes showcases their importance and we love being a part of that!​

Our client had her Mother’s famous “Christmas Bars” recipe, written in her own handwriting, printed onto a plate. To display the plate, we found a Fotiou floater frame that works beautifully in her shabby-chic kitchen.

We created a platform of sorts that the plate sits in and gives the plate an elevation that is slightly beyond its natural rim to satisfy the aesthetic of the frame design.

The end result speaks for itself. What a way to honour mom's recipe tradition!
