THE SMALL BOX PROJECT

​Do you have a childhood keepsake that you simply can’t part with? Our client had this small box since she was a little girl. Here’s The Small Box Project.
 
Old treasures. Our hearts are tied to these items for some reason. (After all we have decided to keep them!) They represent something that was or still is important to us, yet we often decide to tuck these special pieces in drawers or boxes stored under a bed or at the top of a closet. Why? These items or what they represent have somehow in part shaped you. They deserve a place on your wall! But more importantly, they need to be properly protected.
 
No matter how much we love something, time can show on it if not properly taken care of.
 
We designed this little childhood box to have a frame in a light lacquer pink from Roma Moulding. The sides of the box were tarnished with age so we added a white mat board to cover up the wear for a fresh finish and added glass so that it can be displayed while being protected.

The end result is a stunning character piece that holds our client’s heart.
