THE WEAVE PROJECT

Art comes in many shapes and sizes. All with different needs and purposes, as well as aesthetic wants and display wishes of its owner. This list is then brought to us. As custom framers it is our job to tackle the list and create a final product that enhances the art and becomes a "wow" moment for our client when hung in their space. 

Think of framing as being the protector and enhancer of art. Often new life is brought to older items as we highlight its very best elements. The Weave Project shows just that.

This stunning weave had different lengths of frayed edges that we cleaned up. The edging though is notably important to this piece. Placing it between two large pieces of glass and crafting a very thin and minimal frame draws attention to the essence of this incredible art. We also attached hooks so that the final piece can be hung both vertically and horizontally as the client decides. It's all in the design!
