The weather has turned and it finally feels like spring! When I think of spring I think of bright whites and crisp finishes and that’s what our top pins are all about today. Let’s see how a white frame can be showcased in three ways. White does not have to be boring! We designed this bold artwork to have an ornate white frame that picks up the playful nature of the piece. We extended the white finish to a 3” white mat that moves into a very thin orange mat for a bit of contrast. Next up is another colourful art piece that has been accented perfectly with a clean white frame. The painting really becomes the focal point as it floats within the clean-lined moulding. This video is of a piece that we created as part of our “think outside the frame” series featured on Breakfast television last month. It’s such a great way to contain all of those Lego pieces and as well turn them into art! Using a white frame for this project allows your eye to be drawn into your child’s latest Lego creation. We went with a thicker moulding so that it was deep enough to create a little “shelf” that we lined with tape to allow Lego to be built directly onto the lip of the frame! << NEXT | PREVIOUS >>
