There's nothing that tells the story of how a company operates better than a behind the scenes look at what they do. We've shared a few sneak peaks and now here's the complete look at a project we did for Adam Greenberg, one of the hosts from Montreal's Virgin Radio. When it comes to every project that we work on, what matters most is making our clients feel comfortable with the process and thrilling them with the result. Watch the video on Adam's testimonial and then keep scrolling to read more. The front of the house One of the special parts of custom framing is the consultation between our designers and clients. Most consultations are scheduled in advance through appointments so our focus can be on you and your project! Our clients simply give us a call or send us an email to set a time and location preference (either at one of our 3 shoppes or in your space depending). Often preliminary questions are asked to get the project rolling. This allows our designers to have a few options ready in advance. We learn details about budget, project needs, goals, aesthetic preferences and timeline. Our knowledgeable team will have sample suggestions that work within the project's criteria of mouldings, filets, mats and glass and create a visual of how it will all come together. If time's an issue this can be done remotely. For The Greenberg Project, it was all about size and time. But not a worry for us! Since we custom build all of our frames in our Dorval workshop we are fully equipped to handle any sized project and were able to meet the rush timeline needs to make a birthday Mrs. very happy! The workshop Our team works to ensure that the design is both functional, practical and beautiful. Since every frame is hand-crafted by a Le Frame Shoppe member we are able to give each step of the process, from selecting the moulding, to cutting and joining the pieces, the attention and care needed to make your unique frame. Our artisans handle all aspects of the items that our clients bring in, from photo printing to plaques, adhesive and item placement within the frame. Their attention to detail and knowledge of material never ceases to amaze! They seem to breathe new life into everything they touch! Adam's item was an oversized retro floral by Kimmy Hogan. We built a natural oak veneer floater frame that worked beautifully with this stunning artwork and our client's open concept kitchen and furnishings where the piece would hang. We gave the work an artist wrap stretch and a 3/8 inch allowance around the artwork to complete the overall look for this piece. The delivery We understand that you can't always pick up your framed gems. In Adam's case...this piece was huge! A finished piece can be picked up at one of our Le Frame Shoppes or delivered to your home or office. And we even offer installation! << NEXT | PREVIOUS >>
