At the start of the month we often like to offer some inspiration from our Pinterest Board. With the kids home it’s no surprise that our “for the kids” board has received a lot of attention this month. And with the abundant of crafting and art projects that we’re sure are happening right now we wanted to highlight some of our favourite ways to showcase your child’s artwork.
We are huge fans of creating a mature design when framing children’s artwork. In this way the piece can hang just about anywhere in your home without seeming out of place.
With the amount of drawings and paintings that little ones produce it’s hard to keep up with the demand and frame each and every glorious work! We love giving parents the option of easily transferring new pieces in and out of existing frames while also being able to store older artworks at the same time! This is what we call a triple duty frame! Display, storage and ease of use!
Another fun idea is turning children’s souvenirs or tiny toys into art. Kids love having their prized figurines on display and parents love that they’re up off the floor and on the wall in a set space.
This customizable shelf is also a great way to show off your children's tiny 3D crafts. Plus they look amazing when a fun background is added that pulls from your child’s bedroom décor!
It’s also a fun idea to play with the size of mats around a child’s art piece. Adding a drop bottom mat elevates the artwork and makes it feels gallery worthy!
There are so many ways to show off your child’s art. There’s no better time to get creative and have a little fun with the frame design!
