We've all heard about Spring cleaning but what about Fall cleaning?
Summer is fun-filled, blissfully schedule-free chaos! As it winds down and reality slowly comes back into focus, it's time to Fall clean! Yup - we're officially turning this into a thing! Here are our 3 tips to start your Fall cleaning.
ORGANIZE: The key to every good clean-up starts with organizing. Go through your home and note the drop and clutter zones. Toss, recycle and donate your items and then assess what you have left. Chances are these spots will forever be troubled spaces until new organization is put into place. "We love to bring the 'piles' up in contained areas on your wall."
Custom framed command stations for calendars, notes, mail or memo boards are a great way to start off the school year.
Going custom is perfect for areas like this because often size and location have to be considered. The smallest sliver of wall can be turned into a trendy station for your family with the exact size and moulding created uniquely for your space, needs and decor; just in time for the roll in of order forms and registration papers! Toys are also areas that seem to multiply over the summer months! Rather than buy yet another bin that takes up floor space, turn the kids toys into usable art. They'll want to clean up at the end of the day!
CHANGE YOUR GLASS:
If you have older framed items, you might also have cloudy glass. No matter how much you clean your glass it will not give you that crisp look. Over the years new glass types have come out that reduce glare with virtually no reflection and have new technology that allows your artwork to look sharp, more vibrant and clean!
DUST:
For a deep clean, look up! Ceiling corners, light fixtures and frames need a good dusting. To safely clean your frames use a slightly dampened microfiber cloth. Avoid using spray cleaners or excessive rubbing that might affect the finish. << NEXT | PREVIOUS >>
