I’m always amazed at the time put in to creating the needlepoints that come across our counters at the shoppes. They truly are masterpieces! Some have been passed down as keepsakes and are reminders of family; some are made for gifts and others for the pleasure of the craft. All are beautiful and can be enhanced even more by the frame design.
 
GO NEUTRAL
Embroidery works can have a modern vibe when done in neutral tones. Keep within the piece’s neutral palette when selecting your mat and frame for a contemporary end look.

​HAVE SOME FUN
When a needlepoint is made for a child, don’t shy away from colour! Instead select a bold frame that pulls from the piece. Balance it out with a neutral mat and add a fun v-groove detail.

​CLASSIC
Nothing says classic like a crisp white mat and gold frame. A double mat adds subtle detail. 

TRADITIONAL
Sometimes the mat can be left out altogether. This needlepoint feels like a painting so why not treat it in a similar way when selecting the frame design.
