THE FLOAT PROJECT

​Have you ever seen a piece of art that appears to float within a frame? This design creates a beautiful effect. But what happens when the depth isn’t there to create this look? As custom framers - we make it!
 
We often design pieces to ‘float’ above their background mat. This adds such a simple interest that our clients love.
 
There are times though when there just isn’t enough space within the frame to achieve this design. This was the case for The Float Project.

​Our team however always finds solutions! So they built a sub frame at the back to add the depth needed to float the art above the background. Everything then gets hand painted for a seamless finish.

​From the front, you would never that any ‘behind the scenes’ work was done! All you see is a an art piece ‘floating’ within the frame.
