The Gold Leaf Project

Pictures cannot do these works justice! The colours in person are out of this world! And the frame design is spot on!

​These original paintings on fine art paper are covered with layer after beautiful layer of texture and real gold leaf. ​

The gold leafing is quite cool in colour temperature, so we decided to pair these artworks with a pointed gold, vintage moulding by Roma. This moulding is both subtle and regal with an old-Hollywood flare that compliments the pieces to perfection!

The artwork was floated above a creamy, off-white mat and finished with Art Glass for extra clarity. As our frame designer for this project highlighted,  "We want to see that gold SHINE -- not the reflections!" And boy do we! The pieces are incredible!
